What is NeroMIX?
NeroMIX is a media burning software program that allows the user to copy a mix of video and audio file formats into a single CD. Developed by Nero, a software developing company formerly known as Ahead Software GmbH, NeroMIX enables the user to rip .wma, .mp3 and .wav audio files, as well as other audio file formats; and transfer these into a single music CD.
With the software, different video file formats can likewise be ripped onto the computer, and copied to a blank CD. Apart from its CD media burning functions, the software also provides an application that allows for the copying of full CDs onto a blank disc. Documents and other data can also be burned onto a blank CD through the software.
For users with analog audio files, the software can capture these files, encode these in digital audio file formats, and then enable the user to copy these directly onto a rewritable CD. Finally, live audio streaming from the Internet is provided through the software’s Internet radio application.
The software was formally introduced to the market in the fall of 2000, and made available sometime in December of the same year.
