What is MasterCook?
MasterCook is a software program developed for those who love to cook, those who want to learn how to cook and those looking for alternative dishes to help them lose weight, control their weight or simply to add more nutritious recipes into their regular diets.
The software was first developed back in 1992 by Arion Software to provide comprehensive, easy-to-use cooking software. Today, the software is under the partnership of ValuSoft and Cosmi Finance LLC. The software includes thousands of different recipes, from easy-to-cook recipes that can be done in as little as 20 minutes, to elaborate dishes good for a modest to large dinner party; and even recipes that help one to lose weight – or at least not gain a pound more.
The software also includes healthier substitutes to some of the ingredients that recipes call for, and techniques on how to buy fresh ingredients. There are over eight thousand recipes in all included in the MasterCook software. These cover soups and entrees, appetizers, desserts and recipes that kids will surely enjoy.
MasterCook is fully compatible with Windows operating systems, from Windows XP and up.
