What is a MCF file?
The .mcf file extension is most commonly used by the MasterCook recipe software programs. Versions 2, 3 and 4 of this software use the .mcf file extension. The MCF files are used to store the software's recipes, with each MCF file containing information pertaining to the recipe ingredients and cooking instructions.
The .mcf file extension is also used for Hotsauce graphic files, Mathcad font files, Watchtower Library font files, MCF Media Container files, SignIQ media collection files and TMPGEnc conversion template files.
How to open MCF files
Important: Different programs may use files with the MCF file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your MCF file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
