What is ForeSight DXM?
ForeSight DXM is a program for managing geographic survey data for professional land surveyors. It has high integrative abilities for those who want to add it to their hardware/software kits for their survey data collection and organization. A multitude of file formats is compatible with the program, including LandXML, DC and DXF. It can even work with raw as well as coordinate data files.
Data files can be displayed graphically for easier error detection and visual evaluation. Actual data management is carried out through the project file. The software also permits exporting of Survey Pro job files into CAD format files that are fully compatible with CAD software. All lines and points in the files appear exactly the same when converted into a CAD format.
Data editing tools permit finishing of graphics to ensure data validity as well as ease of comprehension. The coordinates on files can be adjusted as well. And with GPS data support, the program provides a comprehensive suite of tools and capabilities for integrating geodetic information in land survey data. The software also includes a coordinate systems editing tool as well as an optional traverse adjuster.
