What is EditPad Lite?

EditPad Lite is software that is primarily used as a text editor and/or a word processor. It is designed to be used with ease and lets you complete editing tasks in a short period of time. It is capable of several functions such as searching for files, spell and grammar checking, file navigating, tag matching, file transfer protocols, and SFTP.

The file navigating feature of the EditPad Lite software also lets you see the main structure of the files you are working on. It also contains syntax coloring support and hexadecimal mode which are both configurable. It is also capable or recording keystroke macros that let you use work on documents without repetitive commands. Clip collection or text snippets usage is also one of its unique features.

The software has an enhanced version called EditPad Pro. The difference is, with the enhanced version, you can work on huge files (more than 4GB in size). Files comparison is also allowed in this version of the software. It has other advanced features such as the use of scripts as well as external tools.
