The DrawPad Graphics Editor comes from NCH Software and is a solution for creating visuals on a computer. Different kinds of graphics can be made using the tools found in the program, and it is possible to save images in different formats as well: PNG, SVG, BMP, JPG, PDF, and GIF are all export file type options. Users can sketch or draw in freeform by using utilities such as the pen and brush tools. It is also possible to edit the appearance of brushes’ strokes.
The program is compatible with most drawing tablets, and like most of today’s sketching applications, recognizes pen pressure when the hardware supports it. It supports the creation (and editing) of both vector and raster graphics. It also allows users to work on their projects in layers, which means that editing can be performed non-destructively when needed.
DrawPad also has shape insert tools, along with the typical utilities for filling objects or shapes with colors, patterns, and gradients. There are tools for adding text to graphics (and editing that text, of course), and users can run it on both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows.
