What is a D80 file?
A .D80 file is a Commodore 8050 Diskette Dump file.
A D80 file contains a byte-for-byte dump of a single-sided 5.25" Commodore 8050 diskette used by their PET and CBM home computers. Each disk can contain 533248 bytes.
These dump files contain an exact copy of the disk contents and can be used in emulators that let you run games and programs for Commodore PET and CBM on your modern PC. This format is similar to D64, which contains a dump of a diskette formatted for the Commodore 1541 disk drive.
