Opening CSI files
Did your computer fail to open a CSI file? We explain what CSI files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your CSI files.
What is a CSI file?
The .csi file extension is one of the script files that Corel PHOTO- PAINT and CorelDraw software use. A .csi file store and provides instructions that can be run to perform certain operations within the mentioned editor programs. It also offers interface functionality with a new attribute in editing images and drawings.
CSI script files are proprietary in nature, which is the reason why they can only run on software programs that are specific to Corel. The scripts are usually not the same for every version of Corel software. The scripts and commands used in CorelDraw might not be applicable to Corel PHOTO- PAINT and vice versa.
CSI files are more popular in older versions of CorelDraw, but it can be easily converted into .csc file which is a more common script file type that Corel utilizes at present. By using Photo-Paint 9-10 script converter, .csi files can be easily converted into .csc files, so that older scripts can also be accessible to newer versions of Corel.
