What is Sage Simply Accounting?
age Simply Accounting, now known as Sage 50 Accounting, is software developed by the Sage Group that provides businesses with a program dedicated to helping them with all the accounting aspects of the company.
The software features a selection of tools that allow the user to create and manage client lists, prepare sales invoices, keep track of payments received and receivables, and produce sales quotations and sales orders.
It also provides templates and tools for the vendor side of the business. The program enables the user to create vendor lists complete with contact details and products or services offered by each vendor, create purchase quotations and purchase orders, and create a list of purchase invoices. Cheque printing is also provided.
For the company’s employees, the owner/manager or authorized personnel can prepare employee payroll where taxes are automatically calculated and process cheques in bulk or by batch.
Other features of the software include Daily Business Manager, which generates a report of the general tasks undertaken by the company as a whole; language options (French and English), multiple currencies, and security settings.
