What is a CCF file?
CCF is an acronym for Cryptload Container File. Files that contain the .ccf file extension are encrypted files that contain links to files that can be downloaded from various locations on the Web.
CCF files are actually container files, holding multiple links that a user can download from. The links that are contained within a CCF file are encrypted in order to hide the actual location of the file that is being downloaded.
The .ccf file extension is also used by the OS/2 Multimedia Viewer software application. These CCF files contain the configuration files that are used by the software.
The GPS Pathfinder Office software also uses the .ccf file suffix for its configuration files.
