What is ZViewer?
zViewer is a thin client viewer with zero-installation. It is supported in most major browsers. zViewer allows its users to see most major file types, including the ones in MS Office. It also supports local annotations from source systems, printing, change auditing, and secured saves. zViewer is also included in Unity. This software does not include any viewing support for all web browsers. This means having enterprise deployment and support without exerting costs or efforts. It has support for most major file types. This includes MODCA, PTOCA, Graphical Files, PDF, Microsoft Office, RTF and TXT. It has support for annotation for many ECM source systems, and document modification support (including copy, merge, split, etc.) and includes bulk export support through Vega Interchange.
Other special features include a seamlessly integrated connection to IBM Image Plus, Open Text, FileNet, EMC Documentum, File Shares, Microsoft SharePoint, and CMIS. It can be configured with extensible plugin architecture, so users will be able to include custom actions and features. zViewer also has fast page-less scrolling for document browsing. Users will be able to compare certain documents, which can automatically be sized, opened, and positioned in multiple viewer windows.
