If you are looking for uVision2, you have come to the right place. We explain what uVision2 is and point you to the official download.
What is uVision2?
The uVision software made by Keil brings together source code editing, total stimulation project managing, program debugging, and facility making in one package. The platform is easy to use, and can let users build embedded programs that work. The software’s editor and debugger are joined in one application, which gives an embedded project development environment. New features found inside uVision include a Scintilla-based editor that supports UTF-8 Unicode and DBCS for Korean, Chinese, and Japanese encodings. There is an extension of Syntax coloring, as well as an improvement of handling large source files.
The uVision IDE gives absolute control of window placement, and allows the use of different monitors. Users will be able to multitask and work with different projects at the same time, through multi-project workspaces. Its Debug Restore Views feature can save multiple debug window layouts, letting users pick which view is the best for their program analysis. They can mark executed codes by using Code Coverage, letting them test their applications thoroughly, and tune their testing strategy. Users can record and show execution times for functions and program blocks through the use of the Performance Analyzer. Files that are placed inside the uVision’s project space are opened up automatically.
