What is a DPT file?
The DPT file extension is used for a data file format that was created by PublicSpace.Net. These DPT files can normally be found in Mac OS X computers, specifically in the installation folder where the A Better Finder Rename software has been installed. This program uses these .dpt files so as to perform its functions for renaming multiple files. Also known as Better Rename Droplet files, these DPT files contain source code and resources that are used by the A Better Finder Rename software so as to run properly in a Mac OS X computer. Droplet data is stored in a .dpt file, which is used by this program for performing some of its functions. These .dpt files are not meant to be opened. It's advised to leave these DPT files alone, in order for the A Better Finder Rename software to continue working properly.
