Reason

If you are looking for Reason, you have come to the right place. We explain what Reason is and point you to the official download.

What is Reason?

Reason is a computer application used to create and edit audio files published by Propellerhead Software (a Swedish software company). It contains bulk collection of sounds, with unlimited audio tracks and a million-dollar mixing. All effects, instruments, and mixing tools required for writing, producing, recording, and remixing sound tracks are available in this application.

With the Reason’s total integration, its hardware synthesizers, sequencers, signal processors, mixers, and samplers are already part of the same package without the need of configuration or connections, which work flawlessly with each other. Reason displays everything at face value; no secreted windows, screens, or sub-menus to flip through. All automation and notes for each sound track collected by the sequencer are clearly presented and simple to deal with. Aside from computer keyboard and mouse navigation, Reason also provides remote technology which has built-in support for all major controllers, and does not require any installation or configuration.

Reason is undeniably compatible with everything. To utilise Reason with other software products, it is necessary to make use of ReWire, an imperceptible cable that holds MIDI, audio, and sync between music applications.
