Installing the software Music Creator provides the user with a suite of applications that will allow them to create/compose music straight from their Windows PC desktop. The software is compatible only with Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and Windows 7 Service Pack 1. For Vista and 7, the software supports both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms.
The user is also advised that to load QuickTime files through the player, QuickTime 7 or higher needs to be installed on the system. Also, to install the software, users will need a DVD drive, as the software is provided in DVD format only.
Music Creator provides the user with a digital audio workstation DAW), integrated with various utilities that can help them get started with their project. Users who are not familiar yet, with the step-by-step process of creating music through a DAW are provided with Song Construction Kits. These kits include more than one thousand pre-recorded instrumentations that allow for instant mixing and blending.
Also included are Project Templates, which the user can customize to create sound mixes; Browser Presets, which include pre-recorded loops; and a music arranger, for arranging the sequence of the tracks selected by the user from the Project Templates utility.
