IconDeveloper

If you are looking for IconDeveloper, you have come to the right place. We explain what IconDeveloper is and point you to the official download.

What is IconDeveloper?

The IconDeveloper is a program that lets users create customized Windows icons for applications. It can import image files such as PNGs and convert those into icons to be associated with specific programs—it can also do the opposite, converting a standard Windows icon into a PNG or BMP file. Existing icons can be modified as well; furthermore, the program allows the user to download fresh icons from WinCustomize in order to use or modify for his own needs.

Icons made or customized with the program can be 256x256p, 96x96p, or 48x48p. They can also come in 4-bit, 8-bit or 32-bit color versions.

The program comes in a full and trial version—the latter has full functionality but is limited to a 30-day use period. Following that, registration becomes compulsory for extended use. Icons can be scaled and can be converted into other formats if desired. Image to icon conversion can also be as quick as a right-click via Windows Explorer. More than that, the program handles batch processing, so users can convert any number of images into icons with just a few mouse clicks.
