What is IcoFX?

IcoFX is an icon and cursor editor. It is a solution for creating, editing, and extracting icons. It is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7 and Macintosh icons that support transparency. IcoFX is available in Brazilian, Danish, English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Hungarian, and Italian.

The user can create Windows icons up to 256x256 for Windows Vista/7, and 1024x1024 for Macintosh. It supports Windows Vista icons with PNG compression. Macintosh icons can also be converted to Windows icons, and vice versa. It supports static and animated cursors. Cursors and icons can be converted from the user’s favorite images. Supported image formats include JPG, PNG, GIF, and BMP. Icons from other files can also be extracted. The user can work with multiple files using a batch processing capability. Icon and cursor libraries can be made. IcoFX has a collection of color correction tools for saturation, adjusting the hue, brightness, and contrast. Different brush sizes and shapes are also available.
