Dassault Systemes Software consists of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) programs intended for the creation of 2D and 3D design models, and product management from design concept to implementation, and all the way to production.
Some of the company’s design software includes SolidWorks, DraftSight, and CATIA; while PLM solutions include DELMIA and ENOVIA.
SolidWorks is a 3D CAD program that allows engineers and designers to create solid models through the implementation of numeric and geometric parameters on the features of the model (shaped-based and operation-based features). The software comes in three versions: SolidWorks Standard, SolidWorks Professional and SolidWorks Premium.
DraftSight is a 2D computer-aided design program that enables the user to view and edit two-dimensional drawings rendered in popular CAD formats, DWG (Drawing) and DXF (Drawing Exchange File).
CATIA is a CAD/CAM/CAE program and PLM solution designed to run on Windows and Unix. Users are able to create 3D object parts based on 3D sketches. It also facilitates development of the product, from conceptualization to design, to manufacturing and engineering.
DELMIA is a PLM program that allows the user to oversee, control and manage the entire manufacturing process of a product; while ENOVIA provides a virtual collaborative environment for managing a product’s lifecycle.

File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Dassault Systemes Software can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
