Cakewalk develops computer software for recording and making music. It’s recording studio software solution, Catwalk Home Studio, combines features in an easy-to-use design. Cakewalk Home Studio lets the user create his own music with their built-in features.

Some of Cakewalk Home Studio’s standard features include: Being able to support .avi, .mpg, .wmv, and .mov files. These videos will be displayed as thumbnails contained within a separate track. Home Studio is compatible with both 5.1 and 7.1 surround formats. This makes it possible to really enhance the user’s audio. It is similar to video editing software applications, since the video output can be previewed on an external monitor.
