What is a WM file?

Windows Media file

Files that use the .wm file extension are most commonly associated with Windows Media files.

The files may contain audio and/or video data. It is more common to find these files with file extensions WMA or WMV, for Windows Media Audio and Windows Media Video, respectively.

How to open WM files

Important: Different programs may use files with the WM file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your WM file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
