What is a VSD file?
A .VSD file is a Microsoft Visio Drawing file.
These files contain diagrams created with Microsoft's Visio software application. The Microsoft Visio application is a commercial diagramming application.
Visio allows users to create a wide range of flowcharts, workflow diagrams, organization charts, and other documents which illustrate organization structures, systems, resources, and business processes.
Shapeware Corporation initially developed the Visio application in 1992. The software was later acquired by Microsoft in 2000.
Unlike many other Microsoft business applications, Visio is not included in the Microsoft Office suite of software products.
