What is a SFX file?
Files that contain the .sfx file extension are most commonly associated with compressed archive files. When a user needs to transmit large files or large batches of files, they will often compress the files into a compressed archive in order to make transmission of the files easier. These files are commonly saved as an executable program so that the archive contained within the file can be self-extracted.
