Files that contain the .rsc file extension are most commonly associated with the Symbian operating system.

Symbian is an open-source operating system designed for mobile and touchscreen devices.

An RSC file used by Symbian is a compiled resource file that is used by applications that run on the Symbian OS. RSC files are stored in binary format and are run with an associated APP file in order to create a Symbian-compatible software application.
