How to open QFX files

Quicken Transfer Format file
Files that contain the .qfx file extension are normally associated with the Quicken financial software applications. These QFX files are used to import data into the Quicken application from a user's financial institution or other Quicken versions.
QFX files may contain information regarding a user's account balances, transactions, and other financial activity. A variety of financial institutions uses the QFX file format. This allows users to import their banking details into the Quicken program easily.
An older version of the transfer format was called Quicken Interchange Format and used the QIF file extension.

Quick Link Fax from Smith Micro Software was a program used to receive and send Faxes under DOS and early Windows versions using a fax modem. Instead of using a dedicated fax machine, users could use their PC and connected modem to act as a FAX machine. Received faxes were stored in files using file extension QFX, which could be opened by the fax software.
