How to open QEL files

What is a QEL file?

The QEL file extension indicates to your device which app can open the file. However, different apps may use the same file extension for different types of data. So a QEL opener may not be able to open all kinds of QEL files. In this case, though, we only know of one specific use.

QEL stands for Quicken Electronic Library. Quicken is a financial and money management software, and older versions use QEL files to store data retrieved from external sources like banks.

Newer versions of Quicken stores the data previously found in separate QEL files embedded into its newer QDF file format.
