Are you having problems opening a PIV file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your PIV files.
What is a PIV file?
Files that contain the .piv file extension are most commonly used by the Pivot Stickfigure Animator application. The Pivot Stickfigure Animator is used to create animations that consist of stick figures with movable parts.
The PIV files that are used by this software contain the animated stick figures that have been created with this application. The PIV file format uses up less disk space than animated GIF files and are optimal for use when file size is a concern.
The Pivotal Sales Suite software programs also use the .piv file suffix. These PIV files contain the activity files that are created by the Pivotal Sales Suite application.
