What are MOFF files and how to open them

What is a MOFF file?
Files that contain the .moff file extension are index video files that have been created by a variety of Sony and Panasonic camcorders.
The MOFF files are Picture Motion Browser files. The Picture Motion Browser is an application that is found on the hard drive of many Sony and Panasonic digital video cameras. It allows for the review and analysis of videos that have been taken with the associated camcorder.
The MOFF file format is a Sony AVCHD index file. AVCHD stands for advanced video codec high-definition. This is a recording format that was introduced by Panasonic and Sony in 2006 for their tapeless digital camcorders.
How to open MOFF files
Important: Different programs may use files with the MOFF file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your MOFF file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
