What is a LOC file?
A .LOC file is an EasyGPS Location Data file.
Files that use the .loc file extension are most commonly associated with GPS software applications. The LOC files contain GPS location information, such as waypoints, destinations, and other location data like favorite locations, places of interest, recent destinations, and other locations that a GPS system user has saved.
These files are usually saved in XML format.
The LOC file format has been being replaced increasingly by the GPX file format.
