How to open EDI files

Did your computer fail to open an EDI file? We explain what EDI files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your files.

What is an EDI file?

EDI files are UN/EDIFACT files, which you can read more about below.

The EDI file extension indicates to your device which app can open the file. However, different apps may use the same file extension for different types of data. So an EDI opener may not be able to open all kinds of EDI files. In this case, though, we only know of one specific use.
