What is a DXA file?
A .DXA file is a DXA Video file.
The .dxa file extension began its usage in video files used in the game Feeble Files. This video file format was specially designed to be used on Amiga and Macintosh computers. Feeble Files is an adventure game about the exploits of an alien named "Feeble". The game is a science fiction comedy that was created and released in the UK in 1997 by Adventure Soft.
Many videos in the said game are in .dxa file format. The DXA file is composed of zlib (a software library used for data compression) compressed video frames, with WAV format for audio.
In the Macintosh version, a DXA file contains the same compressed video frames, but with Microsoft ADPCM format for its audio.
These files are historic and not many media players can play them.
