What is a COS2 file?
Files that contain the .cos2 file extension are primarily used by the Pinnacle Studio video editing software application. This software allows users to edit video media on their computer.
The COS2 files that are used by the Pinnacle Studio software are temporary cache files that are created by certain versions of this software program. These files contain information about a specific file resource, such as a WMA or WMV file.
The COS2 files on a user's computer are automatically created when Pinnacle Studio is being used in edit mode. When the file is no longer needed, it is normally deleted automatically by the computer application.
