C00 File
What are C00 files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a C00 file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your C00 files.
What is a C00 file?
Files that contain the .c00 file extension are created by the WinAce file archiving software. WinAce takes batches of files and compiles them into a single archive file. The archive can then be split into smaller volumes to allow for easier transmission of the file over the Internet and via email.
Each volume of a split file archive is given its own extension in sequence. The .c00 extension is usually given to the first volume of the split file archive.
In order to extract the contents of a split archive file, all of the volumes of the split archive must be present.
