What is a BH file?

A .BH file is a BlackHole Compressed Archive file. Files with file extension .bh are compressed archive files in BlakHole format. An archive file is a collection of files bundled into a single file for easy distribution. That is is compressed means it has been reduced in size by applying a specific compression algorithm on the file data. To restore the original files, you will need "decompressor" software to reverse the process.

This specific archive format was invented by Carl Bunton and is similar in features to the ZIP file format.
