What are ASHPRJ files and how to open them

What is an ASHPRJ file?

An .ASHPRJ file is an Ashampoo Burning Studio Project file.

The Ashampoo Burning Studio Project (.ASHPRJ) file is a project file used by Ashampoo Burning Studio to save all the settings required for burning discs. It holds references to the files and folders the user has chosen to burn, the type of target disc media (e.g. CD, DVD, Blu-ray), burn speed and other disc metadata so that the same project can be reused (for example, to burn multiple copies with identical settings).

This type of file is produced when a user saves a burning project in Ashampoo Burning Studio. It is not the disc image itself, but a configuration file: when opened later in the same Burning Studio program, it restores the state of the project so the user can resume editing or burn without reconfiguring everything.

Files begin with the ASCII signature "ashprj" at the very start (offset 0x0), followed by two zero bytes.
