Ashampoo Burning Studio is CD/DVD/Blu-Ray disc burning software that comes with the basic features of a burning program: copy audio and video files from the computer or an optical media device to a blank disc. Users can also copy data files to create backups of their important files stored on the computer.
The basic burning software is free. The more advanced programs, the latest version of which is the Ashampoo Burninng Studio 12, are paid versions and are part of the Ashampoo Burning Studio suite. The latest version features themes and menu templates for a more personalized disc copy.
The Slideshow Editor allows the user to categorize themes, add effects and input text credits; while for audio files, the user can integrate equalizer effects to specific tracks only. Supported audio file formats are FLAC, OGG, MP3, WAV and WMA. In addition to the burning capabilities of the software, it can also be used to convert audio file formats between any of the mentioned supported file formats.
The software is compatible with Windows-based computers, from Windows XP to Windows 8.
