What is SATO Label Gallery Free?
SATO Label Gallery Free is the unpaid version of the SATO’s label design software. Similar to its paid counterparts, the program provides a solution for industrial labeling needs using either the standard barcode or RFID (Radio Frequency Identification System) technology. The program was developed to be used in conjunction with the company’s thermal printing machines.
The Free edition of SATO’s Label Gallery program has limited features compared to the paid editions but can still serve its main purpose. It includes Wizards for enhanced user experience, the essential label design utilities, Unicode text support, and all industry-standard linear barcode and RFID support. The program is also able to save files in most common file formats, e.g. JPG, BMP, and GIF. It is possible to preview labels prior to printing. Furthermore, the program allows users to select the entries for data and time.
The languages supported by the free edition are limited compared to those found in the other editions: English, French, German, Italian and Simplified Chinese are the options for this iteration. It is compatible with both the 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows, including Windows 7.
