If you are looking for Reference Manager, you have come to the right place. We explain what Reference Manager is and point you to the official download.
What is Reference Manager?
The Thomson ResearchSoft Reference Manager is, as its name states, a program used to keep track of and organize references for various research purposes. Among its features is a simplified method of gathering references from the Web that negates the need to do manual data entry: it simply searches online databases instantly for something specified by the user, then imports those references to build a library. The library can be composed of hundreds or even thousands of databases that the user can continue to build as he uses the tool, adding his own files, attaching images, appending links to other online references, and so on. All databases can be searched and the program allows users to save search parameters for future use. Furthermore, they can be published online.
The Reference Manager also has an autoformatting Bibliography Builder. The program can be integrated with Microsoft Word 2007, 2010 as well, so researchers can leverage their databases without having to navigate out of the word processing program when creating reports. It can check databases for duplicates (and do it without considering punctuation marks) and is also able to spell-check databases.
