If you are looking for PS_View, you have come to the right place. We explain what PS_View is and point you to the official download.

What is PS_View?

PS_View is a viewer for PS (Postscript) extension files and PDF extension files. The application is a free program that was created by Polish developers Piotr Pianowski and Piotr Strzelczyk and distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, making it free to use and share. The languages used in its development are Lua and C++, and the software is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems. It also has 2 available localizations: Polish and English.

The program makes use of the Ghostscript engine to read PDF and PS documents. It does not contain any tools for conversion between the two file formats. It does not contain annotation tools for documents either. However, it does have standard view functions, such as options for zooming in or out of documents and fitting them to the window’s height or width. There are also options for rotation as well as flipping, and users can reset all files after these adjustments to see the original file’s appearance. Besides that, it has frame and grid options that users can make use of in order to perform measurements on the documents.
