Project Reader
If you are looking for Project Reader, you have come to the right place. We explain what Project Reader is and point you to the official download.
What is Project Reader?
The K-SOL Project Reader is a utility that allows the user to open a file from Microsoft Project without having to use the MS Project application. It also precludes the need for MS project on the user’s system. As a purely “reading” application, it does not have the capacity to make edits or save the alterations to files. However, it can perform basic operations such as printing and exporting data from a Project file. Printing is in fact one of its most popular features, as many users rely on it for batch printing Project files. It is typically used to give members of a group access to Project data and documentation while restricting their permissions and keeping access exclusive to those assigned to actual Project editing.
Some of the file extensions that the program supports are MPP, DBMS, MPT, CSV, XML and MDB. It can sort through tables of data, perform filtering, and work with the 8.1 version of Windows. It is also compatible with all Microsoft Project files created using the 98 to 2010 versions of the software. Finally, it is compatible with online storage services such as Google Drive and Dropbox.
