If you are looking for Password Depot, you have come to the right place. We explain what Password Depot is and point you to the official download.

What is Password Depot?

Password Depot is a user-friendly password manager which helps to organize all of the user’s passwords – but also, information from his credit cards or software licenses. This software provides security for all of his passwords, in three aspects. It safely stores the user’s passwords, guarantees a secure data use, and helps him to create secure passwords. In Password Depot, the user’s information is encrypted not merely once, but in fact, twice, to the algorithm AES, or Rjindael 256. He can be sure that his passwords are filed twice.

To start with, the user can select a master password that has to be entered in order to be able to open the file. Additionally, he can also choose to protect his data by means of a key file that must be uploaded to open the file. Every time after the master password is entered incorrectly, the program is locked for three seconds. Password Depot generates backup copies of the user’s password files. These backups may be stored optionally on FTP servers on the Internet, or on external hard drives.
