What is Panda Secure Vault?
Panda Secure Vault comes with Panda Global Protection 2011 antivirus software upon installation into your system. This feature allows you to encrypt and decrypt your files and prevent unauthorized access by others. This helps you keep your confidential data secure. It runs on Windows XP 32bit edition, Windows 7 32bit and 64bit editions and Windows Vista 32bit and 64bit editions.
To encrypt a file using Panda Secure Vault, choose the file to encrypt and do right-click to select Panda Secure Vault. Then, select Encrypt. A dialog box appears to let you enter the password for the file you are encrypting. Click OK when you’re done. You are encouraged to use the Virtual Keyboard when entering your password. While making your encrypted file, you have additional options to delete original file after encrypting and to make a self-extracting file/archive.
To decrypt a file using Panda Secure Vault, choose the file you want to decrypt. Right-click the encrypted file, then choose Panda Secure Vault. Select Decrypt. When the dialog box shows up, enter your password, and you may choose to delete the original file after decrypting when needed. Again, you are encouraged to use the virtual keyboard. Click OK when you’re done.
