MaxSea Application is a sea navigation platform that is designed and published by the company Informatique & Mer. This application is primarily used for displaying the present and surrounding objects and it also aids in routing. MaxSea Application is equipped with MapMedia, either in Vector or Raster modes, which can be used simultaneously with 3D data. It also provides users with regular, unlimited, and free weather forecasts that are delivered on per hour basis. Users can also access tide databases for reference and further studies. It also features another navigation technology called Automatic Identification System in the form of ARPA/AIS functions so as to avoid possible collisions with other marine navigators.
MaxSea Application can also be connected to GPS and it is NMRA compatible. The chats, maps, graphs, satellite photos generated using the application all come in high-resolution and can be printed using any standard printing device. It can function well with Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista.
