Essential Blues Guitar Vol. - Tunes

What is Essential Blues Guitar Vol. - Tunes?

The Essential Blues Guitar Vol. Tunes software is actually the second volume in the two-volume Video Guitar Lessons: Essential Blues Guitar package. Published by PG Music, the package belongs to their instructional video series for their Band in a Box product. It can run with either Windows or Mac computers and requires a minimum of 600MB (RAM) to play; moreover, it is not compatible with Band in a Box version that are older than Band in a Box 12.

Vol. 2 of the instructional package is made up of 20 distinct blues guitar tunes. Each of the tunes is around 5 minutes long and is played by BobCats lead guitarist Danny Casavant, who has spent decades in the music industry. The software helps learners figure out how to replicate the tracks using the Band in a Box resource by watching the videos repeatedly and getting access to the fretboard history. The recordings were made on a MIDI instrument controller, so users can see the actual fretboard activity to use as a guide for replication. The software also includes the actual Beat in a Box files for every one of the tracks.
