What is DeltaCad?
DeltaCad is a CAD (Computer Aided Design) program used to generate architectural, engineering and mechanical drawings for construction projects. This software is used by professionals in these fields such as architects and engineers and is developed by the company Midnight Software.
For architectural drawings, DeltaCad can be used in preparing site development plans, floor plans, electrical and plumbing layouts and for schedule of doors and windows. Drawings can be presented in two ways – 2D and 3D. As in other CAD software, DeltaCad is also compatible with software used primarily for rendering as such 3D Max. Drawings can be scaled according to preference and can also be modified easily using the integrated editing tools of the software. You may also redo and undo for over 50 times per occasion. Areas can be calculated automatically either in Metric or English systems.
The software also lets you present the drawings using its walk-through capabilities which are ideal for client presentation. Aside from engineering and architectural drawings, you may also use this software in creating slogans, banners, t-shirt designs, and backdrop layouts. This software is also compatible with older versions of computers.
