If you are looking for CX-Protocol, you have come to the right place. We explain what CX-Protocol is and point you to the official download.
What is CX-Protocol?
CX-Protocol is one of the components of the CX-One Integrated Tool Package and is mainly used for generating protocols and sequences for communication for CP, NSJ, CS, and SYSMAC- based series. Protocols for HE, HG, and C200HX Serial communication units and boards can also be produced using this platform. The software also lets users initiate sequences intended for external devices. This software alongside the entire CX-One Integrated Tool Package is developed and released by the company OMRON.
With the use of CX-Protocol software, transfer of protocols between units and PLC Boards can be performed. General purpose protocols and devices can also be produced via RS-485A/422 and RS-232C. Respond contents of protocols are secured and can be executed by repeating branch and end steps. It can also support both C200HW-COM and CS/CJ series. It can also be used to modify the communication port settings of boards.
The software CX-Protocol comes with registration cards in two languages – English and Japanese. It also functions as the platform that has the functionality to integrate components and PLCs of OMRON product range. It runs well on Windows XP, Vista, and 7.
