Cakewalk Music Creator is a music production suite from Cakewalk, Inc. The software provides the user with selected tools essential for creating and editing music. The user is able to remove parts of a recording, allowing them to put together only those parts they require to create the final output that they want.
Version 6 of the software includes an amplifier called IK Multimedia Amplitube 3 CS, which features effects pedals on top of a tuner and pre-set amp effects. The digital amplifier enables the user to create the perfect guitar tone for their recordings.
Also included is an effects utility called Music Creator FX, which provides the user with studio-simulated effects that they can integrate into a single track or multiple tracks at the same time. Users are allowed to apply up to twenty-four effects on a single recording project.
The software likewise provides various ways to share the created music; two of which are through the Internet, where the user is given the option to upload their music project on the Web, via social media sites or through SoundCloud, an online music sharing site provided by the developers; and through printing of musical notations. In addition, the user is also provided with a burning utility, enabling them to burn their created projects to CD or DVD format.
