If you are looking for Apex Sketch, you have come to the right place. We explain what Apex Sketch is and point you to the official download.

What is Apex Sketch?

Apex Sketch is from Apex Software and is marketed as an appraiser’s tool. The program belongs to the category of drafting software: users can create vector drawings from scratch using the program or import scans of traditional drawings to “trace” and convert into finished vector images. Users can import aerial photographs as well to use as guides in producing their drafts.

The utility allows users to annotate areas and add comments for later reference. It also has a tool for managing layers that allows the user to disable layers when needed, allowing the user better opportunities for focused work. Standard line tools are paired automated curve editing functionalities. Calculated measurements can be entered into the program to make drafting faster as well as more precise. Users also get advanced sketch page management abilities, along with drag and drop abilities, alignment indication, automatic shading, and the ability to export project data to Excel in order to create a spreadsheet document outlining details and measurements for the draft. Apex Sketch works with most CAD file formats and has a fast rendering engine. It has also been confirmed to run problem-free under Windows 7.
