What is a PTG file?
A .PTG file is an ArtRage Painting file.
ArtRage is a software product by Ambient Design. A PTG file is a project file in ArtRage that has yet to be exported to a standard image output format - similar to PhotoShop PSD files. The ArtRage software is an image authoring application that provides a set of tools for creating digital paintings.
These .ptg files can be opened and viewed using the ArtRage program. There are no known third-party applications that can convert these PTG files into standard image formats.
