ALZip is an archiver and file extraction program from ESTSoft Corp. The program supports file extraction from a variety of formats, including ISO and BIN. From the Graphical User Interface, users can add files onto compression window for file archiving.
Under the toolbar, the user can click on the Folder option to locate files for extraction. The Extraction tab will launch the process. The user will be given the option to immediately open extracted files through the “Open folder after extraction” option accessed through the Extraction tab.
The program uses the AES-256 encryption system, has an integrated anti-virus application that scans files to be compressed and extracted, and the capability to create self-extracting archives. For file archiving, the program provides a Test option that will enable the user to test if the created archive is working or not.
In addition, the program has its own archiving format called EGG which allows for compression of large files. ALZip is compatible with Windows systems. There is a version for Mac computers, the ALZip for Mac program.
