What is a SLC file?
Basically, the SLC or the SLiCe file extension is an image file type that can be found in the files generated from various software and machines like CT- scanners and CAD- based programs. SLC files are often bits of a larger image file that are divided into layers to further analyze and apply depth detail to each section of the primary file.
Furthermore, the .slc file can be created by converting a CAD solid or surface model into the said file type. By conversion, the seemingly indivisible solid figure can be separated into layers and editors can integrate mass details to create more complex form of solid figures. SLC file can also be produced directly from a system that generated layers and slice images.
Telix Compiler SALT Script and CAD Slice File are some of the programs that can be used to edit the .slc files.
